Sognefjord is the longest fjord in the world and is at the centre of Norways Fjord Region. You just need stand at the glaciers edge to stop in awe and wonder at the shear magnitutde of the scenery. The nature, the culture, the history. Two national parks show off the splendours - Josteldalsbreen where you can see mainland Europe's largest glacier and Jotunheimen National Park perfect for hiking, climbing and skiing.

You can reach the Sognefjord district by express boat from Bergen daily, by rail on the Oslo Bergen line (alight at Myrdal for the Flam Railway), by bus or car.
