Western Norway: Towns | Holidays | Attractions
Lysefjord, one of most spectacular fjords in Norway and one of those "must see's". The fjord measures just 23 miles (42km) in length but the rocky walls rise vertically 3,000 feet (1000m) over the water. Close to Stavanger Lysefjord is a popular tourist area. Prekestolen, or Pulpit Rock is a spectacular attraction looming over the fjord, while Kjeragbolten may not be as large but is arguably more breathtaking.
