Ski Beitstolen
Situated on the Route 51 road just south of the beautiful Jotunheimen national park, the resort of Beitostolen is served by nine ski lifts. Geilo
Norway's second largest ski resort, Geilo is a favourite of the British and is situated on the Bergen to Oslo railway line, close to the eastern edge of the Hardanger plateau. At 800m it has direct access to over 28 km of downhill skiing with 18 ski lifts serving 33 pistes. There are three snow and terrain parks for snowboarders
This is a superb resorts for families with ski schools, plenty of beginners runs and instructors all speaking excellent English.

Hemsedal
Hemsedal is jewel in Norway's winter crown, just an hour away from Geilo and is well established as Norway's favourite Ski resort. Boasting over 30 run, fast lifts with a minimum of waiting make this a great resort for all levels of skiiers. Snowboarders are also well catered for with one of Europes best snow parks.
The village is small with not a lot happening during the week though the baras and apre ski make up for that at the weekend.
