Our round trip in Telemark is a great introduction to Norway for the whole family.

Day 1:
Oslo Torp (Sandefjord) Airport to
Bø in Telemark
Your trip begins at Oslo Torp Airport at Sandefjord where you pick up your car and start your journey into the heart if beautiful Telemark. This historical county is close to the sights and features of Southern Norway.
After a leisurely drive you arrive at Norsjø Hotel, a charming, cosy hotel, overlooking the picturesque lake Norsjø. Norsjø Hotel offer you personal service, traditional homemade food and a warm atmosphere.

Day 2
Telemark Canal Boat Trip.
The Telemark Canal became known as “the fast route" between eastern and western Norway and was the most important transport route between upper and lower Telemark for people, domestic animals, goods and timber.
Catch the boat from Akkerhaugen at 10am bound for Lunde. The boat takes you through beautiful landscapes and the locks in Ulefoss, Eidsfoss, Vangfoss and Lunde.

Sommarland in Bø.
Sommarland in Bø is Norway's biggest water park and one of Telemark's most visited attractions. The water area has more than 20 different pools and slides. There are also dry attractions: a play area with mini-golf, mountain climbing, Tarzan-track, and a clown show. Entertainment city "Las Bøgas" has a fun fair, show stage and casino. The park is situated in a beautiful forest area. It has more than 100 different activities; this is the place where children, young people and adults can have fun together.

Days 3,4 & 5
Scenery & Sights
A big day of scenery and sights today.
After another magnificent breakfast you check-out and start your trip further up into Telemark towards Rauland to check-in at Rauland Høyfjellshotel where you will spend 3 nights. Relax now because tomorrow it’s time to start sightseeing.
There is so much to do here. You can go on Moose Safari, a guided minibus safari at dusk, or explore the old architecture and building traditions of Rauland. Telemark has four protected Telemark farms, and three of these are situated in Rauland.
You could take another boat excursion with Fjellvåken II on Lake Møsvatn or simply explore the area hiking, cycling, hunting or fishing!

Day 6
Your final day and time to pack your luggage. After breakfast it's time to drive back to Sandefjord and review your weeks holiday in Telemark. On your flight home you will no doubt be planning your next holiday in Norway!
