Situated on the gentle slopes leading to Sandnesfjord, Sørlandet
Holiday Centre offers waterside camping, cabins and apartments
in the delightful Norwegian countryside
south of Risør.
Many of
the cabins, or hytte, have views of the fjord where you can sit
our on the terrace and take in the spectacular scenery. Each cabin
we feature here have 3 bedrooms, a lounge, kitchenette and
shower room.Sørlandet Holiday Centre is child friendly
making it ideal for your family holiday. There are plenty of
activities and the centre is ideal for fishing and sightseeing
on the fjord.
Activities
There is a lot you can do at Sørlandet Holiday Center with activities
for children and adults alike. At the holiday centre we have sand volleyball,
mini golf, a playground with trampoline, and bathing areas.
You can enjoy
the clear waters of the fjord by renting a boat from us, and bicycles are
also available at a small cost for you to explore
the countryside.We can thoroughly recommend the many beautiful forest paths
where you can take a walk to one of the picturesque lookout points at Hisåsen
and Sundsdalsheia.
A short drive away are the beautiful towns of Risør
and Tvedestrand with their traditional white painted houses, while a bit further
inland and there are the communities of for Gjerstad and Vegårshei
famed for its arts and crafts centres.
FAMILY CAMPING
Sørlandet Holiday Centre's camping has
160 camping and caravan plots, 120 with electricity, all situated
in the idylic fjordside setting that makes a great place for
those who want the peace and quiet yet still an active holiday.
A sheltered sandy beach is flanked by rocks
in the beautiful setting, and for swimmers there is a floating
diving tower and raft.
On site there is a coffee shop, provisions store,
and marina. And when you have explored the surrounding countryside,
there is mini-golf and trampolines and great fishing. |
