Isn't it Good - Norwegian Wood
Lindland is a totally unique place of peace and quiet
where you can “find yourself”, totally chill out, or
perhaps rekindle your relationship with someone close to your heart.
Getting Back to Nature
Dentist and artist at “heart” Eric Lindand has
put his heart and soul into the project. His desire to get
back to
nature has been fulfilled.
There is even a small woodland chapel consecrated by the Church of Norway
for weddings and baptisms and the Christmas Carol Service.
The collection of buildings offers 'real
saunas' where the heat is from open fires. An old log building
for dining by the light of real flaming torchesand an open
fire in the middle. All this giving a truly authentic Norwegian,
almost Viking experience.
There are no manicured lawns or rose gardens.
This nature isn't manufactured; Only natural wooden buildings
dating back to the 1700’s set in a natural Norwegian
forest of pine, birch, and oak.
Something to Do?
The Lindland Experience is more than just a collection of cabins.
There are Natural hot tubs with an open fire underneath, a log building for
meeting and feasts facing a living hearth. There is even a swing and arial
runway over the lake to bring out the child you!
Away from you cabin you can experience all
nature has to offer. Abundant bird life & berries, moose
(elk) beaver and deer in the forest, a traditional wooden
rowing boat for you to explore the lake and maybe return
with a trout for your next meal.
And if you want a break from nature, the
Lindland Experience is situated just a couple of miles from
the town of Risor.
Groups
We are planning a series of 'Life Coaching' and relaxation courses at the Lindland
experience. If you are interested in this or other groups…. Such as
Logging with working horses in the forest as it was done 100 years ago. Please
let us know if you are interested using the contact form.
Christmas at Lindland
Chritmas in Norway just has to be experienced at least once in your life. This
is an experience never forget. Imagine snow, the Sleigh Rides, Christmas
Story Telling by the fire. Good old fashioned company and conversation. There
is even a Christmas Tree farm situated within a mile of Lindland!
A candle lit Christmas carol service in
the snow at Lindland's own small and very original woodland
chapel. Sledge competitions for the children and for those
still young at heart. This is Lindland at Christmas.
